There are three different methods of putting words and pictures onto the shirts.
Screen Printing: Application Technique - Individual colors are imposed onto a screen of silk. Ink is then forced through the mesh directly onto the fabric and is bonded using high temperatures.
Reccomended Garmets - T-Shirts and sweats, any color
Minumum Order - 12 pieces
Price Factors - Product style and color * - Number of print locations - Number of colors in your design
Typical Uses - Large volume orders for businesses, schools, organizations, and events.
Benifits - Extremely cost effective when produced in large volume runs - Creates high quality apparel that can withstand years of washing
Limitations - Maximum of 10 colors per location - Best when printed on smooth fabrics
Digital Printing
Application Technique - Image is printed using special inks that have the ability to bond with certain fabrics when heat is applied. Unlike iron-on transfers, digital printing leaves a vibrant image with excellent durability and wash fastness.
Reccomended Garments - White or light colored t-shirts and sweats
Minumum Order - No minimum
Price Factors - Product style and color * - Number of print locations
Typical Uses - Individual pieces or small volume runs
Benifits - No minimum allows for small runs or individual custom shirts - Cost effective reproduction of full color images - Price is not affected by number of colors in design
Limitations - Can be applied to white or light colored garments only
Embroidery
Application Technique - Logo is sewn directly into the fabric using decorative needlework.
Reccomended Garments - Polo shirts, button downs, denim, hats
Minumum Order - 12 pieces
Price Factors - Product style and color * - Number of embroidery locations - Thread count of your logo **
Typical Uses - Business shirts or uniforms
Benifits - Creates attractive, branded apparel - Logo is sewn directly into the fabric
Limitations - Best when applied to heavier garments such as polos, sweats, and hats.
* Dark colored garments are generally more expensive than white or light colors
** The number of threads required to stitch your logo depends on its size and complexity. Our online pricing reflects images that require less than 8000 stitches. If your logo turns out to require more than 8000 stitches, we will contact you immediately.
